The Television Rating System was developed by the television industry in 1996 to provide parents with advanced and cautionary information about TV shows. The information is both content and age based to allow parents to choose what they deem to be appropriate programming for their children. The objective of the TV Parental Guidelines is to be simple to use, easy to understand and handy to find. At FOX Kansas we realize that finding information regarding the TV Guidelines can sometimes be difficult so we are providing detailed information about the ratings system for those of you who may be interested or concerned.
