The effects of the 737 MAX grounding are hitting companies big and small in Wichita.

U.S. Senator Jerry Moran visited Wichita on Thursday saying he's fighting for the future of aviation here.

Much has been reported about how the grounding has hurt Spirit Aerosystems with their recent announcement of voluntary layoffs, but there are 40 sub-contractors that are also hurting.
