Additional vaccinations for school-aged children in Kansas discussed in public hearing

Kansas kids may soon have even more vaccines before they go to school, and not everyone is happy with the idea.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment had a public hearing on adding Meningitis and Hepatitis-A to the vaccine list.

Dozens of people explained why they believe the choice of vaccinating should be left up to the parents. A few others plead with those opposing vaccine mandates saying how important it is to protect all children.
