A legend has returned to retirement.
Legendary Kansas State head football coach, Bill Snyder, announced Sunday that he would retire the helm for good.
The 79-year-old has coached Kansas State for 27 full seasons since 1989, retiring once from 2005-2008.
Rumors had been circulating about Snyder's retirement since Kansas State wrapped up their season more than a week ago. On Sunday, the university announced through a press release that their legendary coach was bowing out.
