Community turns out for police reform meeting

A big turnout last night at a town hall meeting in northeast Wichita on police reform to talk about changes Wichita specifically needs.

Dozens of people showed up as the organizers went through a list of the 23 top things people want to see changed in Wichita. During the meeting, people were asked about things like firing officers who don't immediately provide emergency medical aid to an injured suspect, and prohibiting chokeholds or knees on the neck. People were also encouraged to bring their own ideas.
