COVID-19 vaccines begin in Kansas

A major milestone in the state's fight against COVID-19...the long-awaited Pfizer vaccine is officially in Kansas.

Monday, frontline workers in Wichita began receiving the first of the state's vaccines including five workers at Ascension Via Christi in Wichita. The vaccines are part of the 150,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine that began arriving as part of the state's first shipment after the FDA authorized its emergency use on Friday.

FOX Kansas News reporter Lacey Williams reports on the story in the video posted above.
