A medical school, a culinary school, and a swanky hotel could all be coming to downtown Wichita.

A developer has committed to invest at least $75-million into the project, and it will create at least 300 new jobs within five years.

With the fast approaching deadline, the city council unanimously voted to move forward with the plan. On Tuesday, those plans took another step forward with expectation of the city's participation being laid out.
