Drag queen reading at Wichita Public Library continues as private event

A drag queen reading event at the Wichita Public Library caused quite the controversy last year.

It happened last September where local drag queens read children's stories to a standing room only crowd. The library received so much backlash that they have spent months drafting a new program policy.

However, despite past controversy, drag queen reading continued Monday night as a private event.

FOX Kansas News at 9 reporter Tiffany Lane was there and shares her report in the video posted above.
