Emergency boarding program offered for pets when owners need help

Cold temperatures and winter weather can sometimes be stressful for pet owners who may not have a plan for sheltering their animals.

So, the Kansas Humane Society has an emergency boarding program that helps with that. They are working with donors around the area to make it possible to give temporary care to pets when things get tough for their owners.

And they're offering much more than just food and a place to stay.
