Flooding from above average rainfalls still affecting Kansas homes

After above average rain totals in May and June for the Wichita area, some homeowners are still dealing with the after effects of flooding.

One family in Haysville has spent quite a bit of money to try and save their home. "Frustrating" and "Exhausting" are just a couple of words the Kane family used to describe their experience that all started with water in the basement, but weeks ago, sand started coming in, too. Right now they say there's no end in sight.

FOX Kansas News at 9 reporter Krystle Sherrell spoke with the family who are still fighting to remove water from their home. You can see her report by watching the video posted above.
