Former K-State Wide Receiver Jordy Nelson has officially hung up his cleats for good, and he did it as a member of the Green Bay Packers.
On Tuesday, Nelson signed a one day contract with the Packers then announced his retirement. Green Bay is where he began and where he spent most of his career before heading to the Oakland Raiders for one year.
Over ten seasons with the Packers, Nelson recorded over 500 receptions and 69 touchdowns and helped lead his team to a Super Bowl victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2010 season.
