Homeless Vietnam vet in Wichita receives new home from local group

Homelessness is a real problem for a number of veterans.

A local organization is giving their all to those who have fought and served our country. The non-profit organization Passageways works to provide hope for our military veteran heroes. They are on a mission to get veterans off the street and back on their feet. This past weekend, the group and its volunteers welcomed their latest hero, a Vietnam veteran, into his new home along with all of the items needed to make it a home.

FOX Kansas News at 9 reporter Alexis Padilla got a first look at the difference they are making and shares the story in the video posted above.
