Kansas church opposes proposed Methodist Church split over LGBTQ issues

Some Methodist churches in Kansas are standing by their LGBTQ communities after a proposal to split the church.

One church in Topeka held a rally Saturday to oppose the plan to restructure the denomination. The proposal would split the church into two groups over issues of same sex marriage and gay clergy.

A church leader in Wichita thinks the split could be a good path forward for the church. FOX Kansas News at 9 has her comments and more on the story in the video posted above.
