Students at L'Ouverture Magnet Elementary School in Wichita went home with a new pair of shoes thanks to the generosity of the Genesis Foundation for Fitness and Tennis.
The shoes were given to the students to encourage them to get moving and more healthy.
The foundation will visit two other schools this week and hand out a total of 1,000 pairs of shoes.
