Local group to hold police reform town hall discussion

As calls for reforming police gain strength, exactly what reforms vary by city and state, which is why local leaders want to know what you think needs to happen in Wichita and Sedgwick County.

As a member of the Wichita Racial Profiling Advisory Board, Juanita Ridge is helping to organize a town hall meeting to make sure you have a say Thursday night at the Urban Preparatory Academy at 2821 East 24th Street in Wichita. They have collected a list of 23 ideas for change, but they are also asking for the community to bring their ideas. The ideas with the most support will be taken to whoever needs to hear them.
