NCAA cuts games from upcoming season for DII sports

The Coronavirus pandemic has caused major financial implications for universities and their athletic departments.

To help manage the economic fallout, the NCAA cut games from each sports schedule next year at their Division II schools. The league voted to reduce the minimum number of games sports teams needed to play by 33%, as well as cutting the maximum number of games sports teams can play. This is just for one season.
