Sedgwick County is turning to COVID-calling to try and get more residents tested for Coronavirus.
When it comes to Coronavirus, data is important. While Sedgwick County first had no tests with hundreds wanting one, they now have the opposite problem...a stockpile of test kits with not enough people willing to take them.
The county asked more than 5,400 people specifically targeted by an outside company to take a free COVID-19 test, but as of Wednesday only 68 people showed up for the test which is far less than the study's goal of 1,600.
