Shockers fall to Lipscomb in final four game of NIT

The Wichita State Shockers men's basketball team go down in the final moments of the National Invitation Tournament final four.

The Shockers fell 71-64 to Lipscomb in Madison Square Garden Tuesday night, just one game short of being able to play for an NIT title. Local fans made the trip to New York City to watch the game that saw the Shockers up by 11-points with over 8 minutes to go.

After the game, a lot of fans kept referencing next year and how the NIT experience for such a young team can be a building block for much more.
