Wichita BOE extends remote learning for older students

The Wichita School Board voted to keep middle and high school students in remote learning environments.

Board members met Monday night to decide whether or not the district should move forward with their already approved blended learning model, but ultimately after more than an hour of discussion, the board voted to keep students where they are for the next nine weeks. This means that elementary school students will stay on-site with the option of remote learning, and middle and high school students will continue learning online.

FOX Kansas News reporter Lacey Williams reports on the decision in the video posted above.
