Wichita non-profit Starkey, Inc. targeted by theft

A local non-profit organization is asking for your help after thieves stole batteries and a catalytic converter out of their service vans early Monday morning.

Officials at Starkey, Inc., the oldest community-based nonprofit in Sedgwick County serving people with disabilities, say they've had trespassers drill holes in fuel tanks of vans but say this theft was much worse. They're now working to make sure that people with disabilities they serve, get to where they need to go despite this costly hiccup.

FOX Kansas News at 9 reporter Krystle Sherrell has been looking into this story and her full report can be seen in the video posted above.
