Wichita Tennis Open at Wichita State begins and a Shocker signee shines

The Wichita Tennis Open came out with a swing Monday morning at Wichita State University as the qualifying rounds ramped up.

The 5th annual event saw three Wichita State Shocker signees take to the court including Alex Richards who squared off against Abraham Asaba from Virginia Tech.

Richards would go on to beat Asaba 6-2; 6-2 in consecutive sets.
