WASHINGTON (Circa) -- Shelly McCullar is apologizing on her Facebook page after her son went to his elementary school wearing a shirt that mocks McDonald's "I'm lovin' it" slogan in a vulgar way.
The shirt her son was wearing portrays two female legs positioned in the shape of McDonald's arches. Below the "arches," the shirt reads "i'm lovin' it" and it uses the same font as color scheme as the regular McDonald's logo.
McCullar explains in her post, "just to clarify, I would never let my kid wear something like this. A friend had given me some hand me down clothes for Anthony. I haven’t had the chance to completely go through them. I will tonight though!!"
The parent does admit that despite her embarrassment, she was able to get a laugh out of the situation saying, "I did lmao!!!"
McCullar offered her apologies to teachers and staff at the school and promised she will now monitor everything her children wear.
More than 90,000 Facebook users have reacted to the post which has been shared over 110,000 times on the social network.
