Fatal fire investigation continues

WICHITA, Kansas - A man was killed Tuesday afternoon in a fire in south Wichita.
The fire started around 2 p.m. in the 800 block of West Savannah.
A man was found outside of his burned SUV.
The fire had spread to a home and reached the attic.
Several in the area saw smoke coming from the driveway and ran over to help.
One neighbor ran inside to rescue a dog.
"He took off towards the garage on fire. I went and ran down the hallway cause it looked safe enough to run down. The dog had went around me and went back towards the window that I busted out," said Matthew Tweedy, rescued dog from fire.
The name of the man hasn't been released.
Fire crews worked to get the blaze at the home under control.
Damage is estimated at $30,000.
