Marquis Marshall sentenced in Dollar General killings

WICHITA, Kansas - Marquis Marshall was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday for killing 79-year-old Henry Harvey and 22-year-old Zachary Hunt at a Wichita Dollar General Store last November.
Last month, a jury convicted Marshall of the killing. It took the jury less then two days to find him guilty.
Harvey was at the counter at store located at 13th and Oliver buying candy for his grandchildren when he and Hunt were both shot several times.
Both died. Marshall was arrested several days later in a traffic stop.
After Wednesday's sentencing, family for the two victim's spoke to KSN.
"It's been a nightmare. It's beyond a nightmare. I can't even explain," said Lori Overton, Zach's aunt.
"For me to be able to live and to go on with my life, I cannot allow Marquis to hold my feelings and control my feelings. So, I forgive him and I move on," said Veronica Harvey Thaw, Henry Harvey's daughter.
Marshall will not be eligible for parole.
