Mayor calls on public to help find ring

WICHITA, Kansas - Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer spoke about a robbery from a Wichita woman at a Taco Bell drive-thru at Tuesday's Wichita City Council meeting.

Last Sunday, Danielle Zimmerman suffered a brain aneurysm in the Taco Bell drive-thru.

When her husband arrived, he noticed that her purse, phone and wedding ring were missing.

Zimmerman died on Monday.

Several of Zimmerman's positions have been recovered, but her wedding ring is still missing.

On Tuesday, Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer pleaded with the public to help find the ring.

"If you know who has it, we ask that you please call the Wichita Police Department," said Mayor Brewer. "Let us know where this jewelry is, where Mrs. Zimmerman's wedding rings are at, so we can get them returned to the family."

Police have made three arrests in the case.

If you know anything about the stolen ring, call Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
