Former jail deputy pleads no contest to unlawful sexual relations

WICHITA, Kansas A former Sedgwick County Corrections Deputy David Kendall on Monday pleaded no contest to six counts of attempted unlawful sexual relations and one count of making a false information.

David Kendall is accused of sexually assaulting six inmates while he was a detention officer.

Kendall is charged with 13 counts, including aggravated criminal sodomy, sexual battery and criminal solicitation.

Kendall is to be sentenced June 27th at 8:45 a.m. by Judge Joseph Bribiesca.
